Sold to OTT platforms at record prices
Darlings – ₹80 crore
Alia, Vijay Varma, and Shefali Shah will star in the film. Alia’s debut endeavor as a producer, while Shahrukh’s production company Red Chillies is also supporting the project. Netflix has agreed to pay Rs. 80 crore for the film.
Pushpa: The Rise – ₹30 crore
Allu Arjun and Rashmika play the lead roles in Pushpa. The film was such a smash hit that it was given to Amazon Prime for $30 million.
Laxmmi Bomb – ₹125 crore
Muni 2: Kanchana is a remake of the Tamil smash flick Laxmi Bomb. This film starred Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani, and it was sold for 125 crores to Disney+ Hotstar.
Bhuj: The Pride of India – ₹110 crore
Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, and Ammy Virk star in Bhuj. The film was reportedly sold to Disney+ Hotstar for Rs 110 crore.
The Bigg Bull – ₹40 crore
The film The Big Bull, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Ileana D’ Cruz, is based on Harshad Mehta’s adventure. Kumar Mangat, who produced Ajay, sold the rights to Disney+ Hotstar for Rs. 40 crores.
Khuda Haafiz – ₹10 crore
The film Khuda Haafiz is a romantic action thriller based on true events. The major characters in the film are Vidyut Jammwala and Shivaleeka Oberoi. The film was sold for ten crores to Disney+ Hotstar.
Shakuntala Devi – ₹40 crore
Vidya Balan, Sanya Malhotra, and Amit Sadh starred in Shakuntala Devi. The deal with Amazon Prime has been completed for Rs. 40 crores.
